Her husband is director Yu Hanxiang, who has a son and a daughter. However, her husband has passed away and they all settled in Hsinchu City.

Wang manjiao grew up in the countryside when she was a child. Because of her family background, she was relatively rich with other rural families, so she had to learn how to dress up when she went in and out. Therefore, after she was promoted to a junior college, Wang manjiao ran for Miss China and won the fifth place (sixth place according to Apple Daily). During the junior college period, Wang manjiao voiced Li Xing's two good friends, so she got to know director Lin Fudi and began to make films.
