Shi Ling

Shi Ling

Shi Ling (1922-1999), born in Tianjin, is a famous writer and actor. When I was young, I was active on the stage with my cousin Shi Hua. He graduated from Tianjin commercial middle school in 1940 and worked as a shop apprentice and telephone office trainee. In 1944, he filmed in Beiping North China film company. Later, he worked as an actor in a professional drama company. In 1948, he joined Wenhua film company in Shanghai and played a role in the films "watch", "corrosion" and "my life".

Honors

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he was an actor in Shanghai Film Studio. In 1981, he won the best supporting actor group award of Golden Rooster Award in the first China Film Festival together with other supporting actors for his role as Guan Shengxu in Ba Shan Ye Yu.
