Lu Haipeng is a native of Panyu, Guangdong Province. He was head of Guangzhou song and dance troupe when he was young. In 1973, he went to Hong Kong to attend TVB training class III. his classmates in the same period included Chow Yun fat and Mr. Xiao Jian Keng, the producer of "happy you have this reason".
In his early years, Lu Haipeng was famous for his comedies and other entertainers and celebrities on TVB's comprehensive programs. In addition, he has participated in record, TV, film and stage performance, and is a versatile actor. In 2004, he competed for the best supporting actor nomination at the Hong Kong Film Awards with judo dragon and tiger list.
