Wang Jingchun, a Hui nationality, was born in Beiping in 1940. He moved to Taiwan with his parents in 1949 and graduated from the Foreign Language Department of Taiwan Christian College. In 1966, he joined the Federal Film Company as an actor. At first, he entered the special martial arts training class for actors. After four months of special training, he became a martial arts actor. In 1967, Cao Shaoqin played in Dragon Inn directed by Hu Jinquan, and was well known by the audience for his excellent acting skills and skilful fighting skills.
