Yu Shaokang

Yu Shaokang is a Chinese actor. Born in Shenyang on September 11, 1925, he graduated from the preparatory school for studying in Japan in 1944, majoring in arts, and later engaged in stage performance. In 1949, he worked as an actor in the art troupe of northeast military and Political University. His representative works include beidahuanren, Xiaobing zhangga, Haixia, Xizhao street, Xiaoerhei's marriage, etc.

He has been an actor in Bayi film studio since 1956. He has played a role in films such as "the night before the fierce battle" and "the battle of Heishan". In 1958, he was mistakenly classified as a rightist, separated from the film industry, and transferred to Beidahuang farm as a farm worker. In 1960, he participated in the script creation of the drama "Northern Wilderness". In 1961, he starred in the film "people of Northern Wilderness". He joined Beijing Film Studio in the same year.
