In 1987, Chen Jin graduated from the drama department of Shandong Academy of Arts with a bachelor's degree in art. In the same year, she was assigned to the air force drama company to play five roles, including the heroine ice sculpture in the drama "snow peak love".

Personal life

Chen Jin was born in a military family in Jinan, Shandong Province. Her father, Chen Kemin, is a professor at National Defense University. Her brother, Chen Zhun, is a fashion photographer.
