Li Wei

Li Wei

Li Wei, male, Han nationality, was born in August 1953 in Fengxian County, Jiangsu Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in March 1969 and joined the Communist Party of China in April 1973. He has a college degree and is a researcher. He used to be the director of the development research center of the State Council.

He is now a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th CPPCC National Committee and director of the population, resources and Environment Committee of the 13th CPPCC National Committee.

He has long been engaged in the practice and Policy Research of macro-economy, reform of state-owned enterprises, management of state-owned property rights, policy bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises, investment management of financial derivatives of state-owned enterprises, and enterprise informatization. As the head of the competent department of the State Council, he was specifically responsible for the reform of the national rural credit cooperatives system from 2003 to 2005 He published more than 70 economic and social academic papers and other articles, CO authored financial instruments and insurance accounting as the first host, participated in the drafting of relevant important documents of the central government and the State Council, and presided over the formulation of important policy documents of relevant ministries and commissions.
