Zhao Qing appeared in front of the public as a singer at the beginning of his career. Many Taiwanese fans turn to his fans because they like his songs. Love songs such as "one's Christmas Eve", "light clouds and light wind", "my feeling for you has not changed", "let the story come to the end" have gained good reputation. In 2012, Zhao Qing returned to the road of singer and sang the theme song of the movie "who I love" starred by him.

In 1992, Zhao Qing took part in the shooting of the Taiwan version of "red lantern hanging high", and successfully played the role of "Chen Feiyu", the second young master in the play. In the play, he got the guidance of Li Lifeng, who played the role of his mother, and played the role perfectly. Later, Zhao Qing gradually shifted his focus to TV series and movies.
