Mo Zijiang

Mo Zijiang, a famous film artist in China, was born in Guangdong. When he was a sophomore in Beijing Film Academy, he played the leading role of a Peng in the film five golden flowers.

Mo Zijiang graduated from class 57 of north power meter. In 1957, the performance Department of Beijing Film Academy welcomed 21 students from class 57 of beidianbiao, the second year since its establishment. Among them are "a Peng" (the hero of five golden flowers) - Mo Zijiang, "Xiao erhei" (the hero of Xiao erhei's marriage) - Yang Jianye, "Zhou Dabang" (the hero of marching into the Central Plains) - Wang Zhigang, and many other film performing artists who were personally received by Premier Zhou. September 2007 is the 50th anniversary of their admission. Twelve students from Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Jiangxi, Guangdong and Hong Kong came all the way to Beijing. Class 57 of Nortel is a glorious group. Because at that time, the school requirements were very strict, a little slack will be dropped out. However, class 57 of Nortel is the only class with 21 students enrolled and 21 students graduated before the cultural revolution. What makes them even more proud is that Mo Zijiang, a classmate of their class, took part in five golden flowers when he was a sophomore. Because of his excellent performance, he was personally received by Premier Zhou. Premier Zhou also invited Mo Zijiang to his home for dinner. This is also a great honor for class 57 of Nortel.

Five golden flowers

Five golden flowers is a classic in the film history of new China. But little known is that the film was originally called "Twelve golden flowers", and it is a documentary about Yunnan's ethnic customs. But Xia Yan, the Minister of culture at that time, changed it into five golden flowers. And director Wang Jiayi is the icing on the cake, a documentary made into a feature film, thus the achievement of this eternal classic. Mo Zijiang plays a handsome young man Peng who won the championship of horse racing in five golden flowers, but few people know that the champion started to learn to ride a horse three days before the shooting of the film. In Mo Zijiang's own words, "I haven't seen a horse before.". In order to meet the requirements of shooting, Mo Zijiang practiced repeatedly. Later, his legs became swollen and he could only sleep on his stomach.
