Liu Jiyun

Liu Jiyun, formerly known as Liu enmian, is an actor in Bayi film studio. He was born in an ordinary family in Beijing on June 12, 1910. He loved literature and art since childhood. He studied laodan with his uncle Gong Yunfu, a famous Peking Opera actor. Later, he worshipped Wen Liangchen as his teacher and was influenced by traditional art. He joined the Eighth Route Army in 1938 and the famous Shangdang campaign, and then joined the Communist Party of China in 1945. In the hard years of fighting, his thoughts grew rapidly, especially his artistic practice, which made him accumulate rich materials and creative experience.

Character experience

After liberation, he was transferred to the Southwest Military Region combat arts troupe as an actor in 1951. He was transferred to Beijing in 1953 and worked as an actor in the drama troupe of the General Administration literary and Art Troupe. During this period, he played a role in the second attack and other plays. In 1955, he was granted the rank of lieutenant colonel. In 1956, he was borrowed to Bayi factory to participate in the shooting of the film "breaking through the darkness before dawn". And the next year's film "five colder". Because he made the revolutionary old man real and natural, he was officially transferred to work in the cast company of Bayi factory in 1957. During this period, he made many films. For example: "hero tiger", "forest and snow" and other films. In the 10th anniversary of the national day, Liu Jiyun plays the role of KMT General Liu Yi. He shows the complex mentality of General Liu Yi in the uprising on the big screen. It not only shows the hero's bright attitude of leading the uprising, but also shows his thoughtful and resourceful image in great detail. Therefore, it is well received by the audience.

Screen image

Liu Jiyun creates many screen images, most of which are supporting roles, which can be divided into two categories: one is to create the image of the elderly, and the other is the image of the villain. Because the villain he played left a deep impression on the audience, he became a film actor who was good at creating villain image in Bayi factory. In 1966, he took part in filming the great wall of the South China Sea. Because the Cultural Revolution was not completed, he was persecuted and suffered from a variety of diseases. Such a good actor with certain depth and characteristics died in 1971.
