Feng Gang, male, born in 1968, Ph.D., is currently professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Marxism of Beijing Normal University, President of Institute of Ideological and political work of Beijing Normal University, director of Academic Committee of National College Ideological and political education research branch of Chinese society of higher education, and executive director of national Party Construction Research Association.

Biography of characters

He once served as the director of the Research Center for the development of Social Sciences in Colleges and universities of the Ministry of education, the director of the propaganda and Education Department of the Education Working Committee of the Beijing Municipal Party committee, the director of the Research Center for the development of Social Sciences in Colleges and universities of the Ministry of education, and the deputy director and director of the social and ideological Department of the Ministry of education. On November 3, 2016, the Party group of the Ministry of education of the Communist Party of China decided to remove Feng Gang from the post of director of the Department of Ideological and political work.

Main achievements

He participated in the drafting of No.16 document and supporting documents of the CPC Central Committee, undertook and presided over a number of national social science research fund projects and major research projects entrusted by the Ministry of education in philosophy and social sciences.
