Since 2008, he has been director of Molecular Cell Biology Laboratory of biological research center of Swedish agricultural university. Mainly engaged in plant metabolites, metabolic pathways, molecular biological mechanisms of metabolism and biomass energy research.
In 1988, he studied in Stockholm University, Sweden, and obtained a master's degree in Microbiology and a doctor's degree in biochemistry. Tenure in the Department of plant and Forest Sciences, Swedish Agricultural University (Uppsala).
He graduated from plant protection of Anhui Agricultural University in 1983,
