On November 24, 2015, Fuzhou Municipal People's government appointed Comrade Chen Binghong as the chairman of Fuzhou state owned assets investment and Development Group Co., Ltd., and removed him from the post of general manager of Fuzhou state owned assets investment and Development Group Co., Ltd. and the post of chairman of Fuzhou water investment and Development Co., Ltd.

In July 2016, Chen Binghong was appointed Vice Chairman (Part-time) of Fuzhou Air Travel Group Co., Ltd.
