Ye Hongwei

Ye Hongwei, born in 1963 in Taiwan, graduated from the Department of film and drama of China Cultural University in 1984. Director and screenwriter in Taiwan, China.

"Film spring and Autumn" won the 7th mm Drama Award of the sixth golden harvest award in Taiwan. In 1991, "five women and a rope" won the nomination of the best adapted screenplay award of the 30th Golden Horse Award in Taiwan and the silver Cherry Blossom award of the Youth Department of the Tokyo International Film Festival.

Character experience

From 1983 to 1984, he successively shot eight centimeter short films "film spring and Autumn", "family comedy" and "walking swan", all of which won the golden spike award.

In 1984, he graduated from the drama department of Chinese Culture University in Taipei, Taiwan Province.

In 1986, after retiring, he devoted himself to film work, and served as the deputy director of "we are all Taiwanese" and "the sound of the horse in the underworld", as well as screenwriter, advertising planning and other positions.

In 1987, as an assistant director and screenwriter, he joined Tomson film company and gave up studying in American University in order to shoot "old love".

In 1989, he directed the novel of the same name "Dao Wen", which was adapted from Yang Shu by Ono. He was shortlisted for the best film, director and hero of the Golden Horse Award, and was nominated for the best director and excellent work award of the 27th Taiwan Golden Horse Award.

In 1991, he shot the social realistic film "five women and a rope", which was shortlisted for the best adapted script of the 30th Golden Horse Award, and won the silver Cherry Blossom award of the Youth Department of the Tokyo International Film Festival in 1991.

In 1994, she shot "old story of Hong Ling".

In 1996, he completed the posthumous work shaolanghong by senior director Li Jia, and edited and directed shrew hill, as well as the bell on the top of the mountain in cooperation with mainland China.
