Li Jiading was born in a wealthy family in Guangzhou. Although he was born by Er Fang, he was deeply loved by his family. When he was eight years old, he went through land reform and all his belongings were confiscated. Li Jiading fled to Hong Kong with his family. Because of his poor family, he was forced to withdraw from primary school and began his working career. At the age of 18, Li Jiading got to know the martial arts instructor during his summer job. He became a teacher and began to practice martial arts. At the age of 20, he became a martial arts teacher of dragon and tiger. During this period, several film companies wanted to hire him as the leading actor. However, in order to support his family, Li Jiading gave up his lower paid job as an actor and continued to be a martial arts teacher for more than 40 years.

Li Jiading has been learning equestrian since he was in his early twenties. He has participated in many international competitions, including the world-famous "IBG international business equestrian competition" and "Fei International Equestrian Federation equestrian hurdle competition". He has won more than 200 awards in his life. Li Jiading is famous for his fierce and exquisite riding skills. His fighting spirit and indomitable competition spirit once made his opponents feel frightened. Foreigners all called him "crazy Steve". He is still the equestrian instructor.

In 1970, Li Jiading met artist Shi Ming, married for four years, and divorced in the 1990s. In 1981, Li Jiading joined TVB and played the role of "Li Wei" in comedy Hong Kong August 1 to Hong Kong August 6. For many years, he has been acting as an actor and martial arts and equestrian instructor in TVB, as well as a film actor and martial arts instructor. Because of his serious appearance, he often acted as villains or martial arts masters. His insiders respected him as "Dingye", and his powerful image was deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

Individual family

Li Jiading married Shi Ming, a former artist, and now divorced. They have two children, Li Yonghao and Li Yonghan, both of whom are artists.
