Appointment and removal information

On January 13, 2015, according to the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Xi Jinping, chairman of the People's Republic of China, appointed Li Jie as ambassador of People's Republic of China to the Federated States of Micronesia.

On May 31, 2018, Li Jie was removed from the post of ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the people's Republic of China to the Federated States of Micronesia and appointed ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the people's Republic of China to the Republic of Zambia.
