Zhang Fengxiang, pseudonym Yefu, was born in Yuanping, Shanxi Province. He is an outstanding contemporary calligrapher, member of China Arts and Crafts Association, director of China Wutaishan calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, and member of China Calligraphy Association.

Award winning process

In the 2005 Yinglian cup world peace international calligraphy competition, he won the special award of the adult group and was awarded the honorary title of World Peace Culture Ambassador. In the same year, he was employed as an art consultant by Taiwan Chinese art society and awarded the title of world famous calligrapher and painter. In 2006, he won the silver award in the Chinese calligraphy art exhibition and awarded it to the famous artists of Wutai Mountain in China. In 2007, he was awarded the honorary title of Sinologist by China Sinology Research Association, and in 2008, he was awarded the International Olympic Art Gold Award by the International Olympic Art Center.. In 2009, Mr. Zhang Fengxiang successfully held his own calligraphy exhibition in Beijing Art Museum for the first time. Mr. Wang Gang, a famous host, presided over the ceremony. Li Lanqing, former Vice Premier of the people's Republic of China, Zhang Hai, chairman of the book Association, and other leaders attended the exhibition to give support and appreciation.
