Jiang Yang, born in September 1956, Han nationality, from Luzhou, Sichuan Province, holds a doctor's degree in economics.

He was vice chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission.

Since 1982, he has been a reporter of the economic daily; since 1989, he has been the head of the Economic Department of the financial times; since 1990, he has been the deputy director and director of the Information Department of the general office of the people's Bank of China, the director and deputy director of the general office Secretariat of the general office of the people's Bank of China, and the deputy director of the supervision department of non bank financial institutions; since 1998, he has been the director of the institutional supervision department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission; in July 2001, he has been the director of the Shanghai Futures Exchange General manager and Secretary of the Party committee of the exchange; in July 2006, he served as assistant chairman and member of the Party committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission; from August 2006 to April 2009, he concurrently served as director of the futures regulatory department; from September 2012 to June 2018, he served as vice chairman and member of the Party committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
