Kim Sharma's father is an Indian Sikh and his mother is Irish. She was sent to Panchgani boarding school as a child, and later returned to her hometown Ahmednagar for junior college. As for her time as a student, she later recalled: "it was a cultural shock to study in a boarding school with a lot of foreign students and then study and live in Ahmednagar." When she reached the twelfth grade, she decided to give up her studies. Because her niece studied at Ahmednagar military public school, but as a school icon, she has begun to try many fashion shows and modeling jobs, and Kim Sharma has also been influenced by them.
