Sports career

Liu Liming used to be a point guard with accurate three-point shot, strong organization ability, quick thinking and hard work style. He once played for Dongguan new century basketball team, Shanxi Zhongyu basketball team and Sichuan Jinqiang basketball club.

Life after retirement

Before his retirement in 2009, Liu Liming successively served as the captain of Sichuan basketball team. After his retirement, he worked in Sichuan news network. Later, he was assigned to the Propaganda Department of the provincial Party committee. He founded Chengdu Liming Sports Culture Co., Ltd., the first Amateur Basketball League in Chengdu, namely cabl, and opened up the market of Chengdu amateur basketball. In 2010, in the first year of the establishment of Sichuan Jinqiang basketball team, Liu Liming joined the fire line one year after his retirement, and helped Sichuan Jinqiang basketball club win the regular season championship and the fifth place in the National League. Finally, he was listed as one of the new five tigers in Sichuan by the media and called him "amazing firefighter".
