Wang Jiang

Wang Jiang

Wang Jiang, male, Han nationality, was born in July 1963 in Rushan, Shandong Province. He holds a Ph.D. in economics and is a research fellow. He joined the Communist Party of China in December 1983 and began to work in July 1984.

He is now Deputy Secretary of the Party committee and President of China Construction Bank.

Appointment and removal information

On December 13, 2019, the announcement of the resolution of the board of directors issued by the Bank of China shows that the bank has decided to appoint Wang Jiang as the president and a member of the strategic development committee of the board of directors; elect Wang Jiang as the vice chairman; and nominate Wang Jiang as the candidate for executive director.

On January 19, 2021, China Construction Bank held a general meeting. Relevant cadres of the Central Organization Department announced that Wang Jiang, former deputy secretary of the Party committee, vice chairman and President of the Bank of China, would be deputy secretary of the Party committee of China Construction Bank and would be vice chairman and President of the bank.
