Xie Yujun, male, born in Dalian, Liaoning Province, is a stunt driver and a disciple of Ke Shouliang. They are known as "new flying man of Asia", "Dalian Xiaohei" and so on.

At 10:30 a.m. on January 12, 2014, Xie Yujun, driving a 1.6-ton racing car, started from daheihe island in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, a border city between China and Russia, accelerated on a 300 meter runway and flew over the 40 meter wide Heilongjiang River in China.

Character experience

At the age of 14, he fell in love with motorcycle driving. He began to imitate "little black brother" Ke Shouliang in 1997, and was destined to become Ke Shouliang's close disciple. Later, he was known as "new Asian flying man", "Dalian little black" and so on. After the death of Ke Shouliang, Xie Yujun has been planning to express his memory of his master in the form of flying car.

On the morning of January 12, 2014, Xie Yu, the close disciple of Ke Shouliang, "new flying man of Asia", drove his racing car across the Heilongjiang River with a width of about 40 meters under the extreme environment of minus 40 ℃ to pay homage to Ke Shouliang.

Flying over the glacier

The specific time of the flyover is that the car starts from the big Heihe island in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, a border city between China and Russia, accelerates through a 300 meter runway, and flies over the 40 meter wide Heilongjiang River in China. Since Heilongjiang was completely frozen at that time, the theme of this operation was named "flying over the glacier". At that time, the famous host Han Qiaosheng and the live broadcast team of 60 people will live broadcast this wonderful "century flying" for the people of the whole country through CCTV-5.

Xie Yujun is facing a severe hurdle, which is undoubtedly the local extremely cold weather of minus 40 degrees. Data show that Heihe is the northernmost prefecture level city in China. In history, the lowest extreme low temperature of - 44.5 ℃ was recorded on January 12, 1980. The lowest temperature on January 12, 2014 is expected to be as low as minus 30 degrees, and the somatosensory temperature on the river will be about 10 degrees lower. Therefore, this flyover will set a world record for challenging the speed of a car in the extreme environment of minus 40 degrees.
