Zheng Tao, born in China on August 20, 1985, is a Chinese professional football player. He works as a left back in Chongqing Contemporary Lifan football club.
Sports career

Zheng Tao came from Dalian, the football city, and later joined Shanghai international team and moved to Xi'an with the team. At the end of 2004, Zheng Tao
Has begun to land in the super stadium. Zheng Tao is strong and has a good sense of defense. But he is also a versatile player in the back line and can play at left back and right back. Zheng Tao's existence gives the back line of the National Olympic team more room for change. As a defensive player, he scored two goals for Shaanxi team in 2006.
In the early morning of January 15, 2007, the National Olympic team beat the French team 2:1. Zheng Tao came on as a substitute in the second half and performed well. However, in the warm-up match between the National Olympic team and the British championship team Royal Garden Rangers, Zheng Tao was involved in a fight, and his jaw was broken by the Royal Garden Rangers' players, and his condition declined. He also lost his qualification to participate in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on behalf of the national Olympic team and the main position of the Western Shaanxi team.
On January 10, 2011, he officially joined Liaoning Hongyun football club, which was recognized by the club and the head coach and became an indispensable member of the main team.
On April 6, 2013, in the fourth round of the 2013 China Super League Liaoning Hongyun away game against Shanghai Shenxin, Zheng Tao received Zhao Junzhe's pass, successfully fought offside, scored the first goal in three years since joining Liaozu, and helped Liaoning Hongyun away with a point.
On January 4, 2017, Zheng Tao joined Chongqing Contemporary Lifan football club.
