Ji Wei has been committed to exploring the modernization and internationalization of Guzheng music, studying and trying the possibility of cooperation between guzheng and other national musical instruments in the world, expanding the breadth and depth of Guzheng music performance, and innovating various forms of performance. Ji Wei's efforts in the field of Guzheng in China led her to win the honor of the world's top ten Chinese successful women's Awards (selected by Jessica magazine in 2009).
