Personal life

Because of a drowning experience in his childhood, Xu Yang was very afraid of water, which made him dare not try swimming. Xu Yang studied in Shanghai Drama Academy. Before shooting the TV series "blue 50 meters", Xu Yang began a two-month swimming training, from the take-off, into the water, paddle and so on, he studied every action seriously; in order to overcome the psychological fear of water, Xu Yang asked the coach to force his head into the water to practice holding his breath, 20 times a day without interruption.
