Du Cong is famous for his panxiao. In 1978, Du Cong entered the Department of folk music of Shanghai Conservatory of music; after graduation, he went to Shanghai National Orchestra and took the last place in the orchestra's eight flutes; in 1991, he made his first Panpipe record meditation and won the third China Gold Record Award. It is known as the "Prince of Panpipe" and the first person in Asia.

Character experience

In 1978, when Du Cong entered the Department of folk music of Shanghai Conservatory of music, although he was the only student admitted to the Department of folk music in Shanghai examination area at that time, others still thought that he was in the piano department for four years.

In 1991, he made his first Panpipe record, meditation, and won the third China Gold Record Award.

After graduation, Du Cong went to Shanghai National Orchestra and took the last place in the orchestra's eight flutes.

In 1993, Du Cong participated in the recording of "sister drum". It was the most enjoyable and unlimited creation.

In 1996, Du Cong held his first concert in Beijing. A week before the concert, he found that none of the three pieces he had invited could be used.
