In 1995, five songs, including "love for hometown", "lumberjack coming down the mountain" and "Water Town Restaurant", were successively broadcast on Hunan Economic radio station and Yiyang people's radio station. In the same year, Sanxiang Metropolis Daily published an article entitled "Xiao He has been exposed -- a story of little composer Cao Qinfang", which reported the course of Cao Qinfang's learning music.

In 2001, he participated in the "first national original music fair" held by music weekly, and was encouraged and praised by famous composers Fu Gengchen, Gu Jianfen, Xu Peidong, Zhang Zhuoya and other teachers. In 2020, Cao Qinfang created the original public welfare song "warmth" against New Coronavirus pneumonia. His works were composed and sung by Cao Qinfang himself.
