Born in a musical family, Aoyuan has been longing for green barracks since childhood. "When I was a child, I especially liked the valiant figure of female soldiers. I had to wait for my mother to buy me a military uniform. At that time, I had a dream that one day I would stand on the stage in my military uniform and sing to everyone. " Ao Yuan said with a smile.

After graduating from high school, because of a few points' difference, Ao Yuan passed the PLA Academy of art, which she yearned for most. In order to continue her music dream, she went to Shenyang Conservatory of music to study alone. In Ao yuan's heart, her love for the barracks never diminished. In every performance of the school and the army, she was always indispensable.

In July 2009, she graduated from Aoyuan Conservatory of music. Several professional art troupes in Beijing took a fancy to her, and some of them offered very favorable conditions. But in Aoyuan's heart, the complex of green barracks is really hard to give up. She finally chose the armed police literary and Art Troupe and became a literary and art soldier of olive green square.

In the second month after joining the league, Ao Yuan went to the arduous Tibetan areas of Sichuan with the art team to perform. With an average altitude of 3000 meters, Aoyuan had a strong altitude reaction, headache, dizziness, vomiting and extreme weakness. Most of the Tibetan troops are located in remote areas. They have to go through a long journey of several hours to more than ten hours. As soon as they get out of the car, Aoyuan shows his spirit and sings for the soldiers. At the end of the tour, Ao yuan lost several jin.

"But it's all worth it. When we performed for the soldiers at the post at an altitude of 4500 meters, they were on duty in turn to watch our performance. After singing a few words, I saw that they were in tears." It was tears of joy and excitement, but also tears of emotion and love. "For the first time, I feel that my singing can bring more things to others. It's a wonderful feeling. You will feel that all the hard work is nothing compared with them. These young and lovely soldiers are the most worthy of my singing. " Ao yuan's eyes are shining with crystal clear and bright.

From the snowy northeast to the hot south of the five ridges, on the vast stage of the army, Ao yuan, the Nightingale's first song, tells the heart of the soldiers again and again, and also sings her enthusiasm and sincerity of serving the soldiers and caring for the officers and soldiers. In April 2011, Ao yuan had the honor to participate in the competition of the Golden Bell Award, the Eighth National pop music award.
