Xu Renxiu

Xu Renxiu was born in Hsinchu in 1946. He lived a close childhood with nature in the countryside of xionglin. And long, deep into the mountains and valleys of Taiwan, but also to the world adventure travel, leaving many records.

Important events

In the 1960s, when Taiwan's nature began to be seriously damaged, he took the lead in calling for the protection of nature's ecology and began to photograph and record the original scenery of Taiwan's nature. At the same time, he is also engaged in nature education, writing articles, publishing books, giving lectures, opening exhibitions, and taking students and children to do natural view and experience.

In 1995, the wilderness protection association was founded to gather more folk forces to protect nature. We should work hard for children's ecological education and protection of abandoned land. His works have won many awards.

In July 2000, he went to Xinjiang to participate in the green camp for college students in 2000. Xu Renxiu collected the voice of some representative animals in the tropical rain forest, from which we can not only appreciate the mysterious atmosphere of the tropical rain forest, but also feel the writer Xu Renxiu's love for nature and life. If people close their eyes and listen to the symphony from nature, they will feel that the rainforest is nearby.
