In 2007, Hanggai released their first album Hanggai in the UK. In December, earthbeat, a Dutch brokerage, started a partnership with Hanggai to arrange performances for the band outside China. In March 2010, Hanggai band completed the recording of their second album "people on a journey". The producer of the album is kenstringfellow, and the other producer is J.B. Meijers, a musician from Holland. On November 17, 2012, Hanggai band held its first domestic concert in Ordos Grand Theater.

In March 2015, Hanggai band won the championship in the original music reality show "Chinese good songs Season 2". And officially signed a contract with Beijing Tianhao Shengshi Culture Communication Co., Ltd.

On May 10, 2016, Hanggai band held the premiere of the album "flower zebra" in Beijing candy theater. On May 18, Hanggai released the song the rising sun. On July 20, 2017, Hanggai band won the CMA annual Band Award of the first singing Committee Music Award. On December 3, Hanggai band won the 10th National Spirit builder award of modern communication group. On December 10, the first concert of Hanggai band's album hometown opened in Beijing. The band performed more than 10 songs in the whole concert. Hanggai music studio was established in 2018. 2019 is the 15th year of Hanggai band's establishment. On March 7, Hanggai band's 2019 new album "Hanggai and brass" was released in Beijing. At the meeting, Hanggai band and the Jazz brass band jointly brought to the guests four new albums, including dingjitu Bay and Achnatherum splendens in the north. In January 2021, he took part in the recording of "wonderful music collection" of cctv-15 music channel and sang "I wait until the flowers are gone". In February of the same year, he took part in the recording and singing of Mongolian folk song "wine song" in the column of "folk song China" of cctv-15 music channel.
