Wang Chengyong

Wang Chengyong, male, Han nationality, born in December 1964 in Jianhu, Jiangsu Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China, doctor of engineering, professor and doctoral supervisor.

Research direction

It is mainly engaged in the research of high-speed, high-efficiency, precision and ultra precision machining theory, technology, cutting tools and equipment technology of difficult to machine materials. In recent years, the research mainly involves the high-speed machining theory and CAD / CAM of mold and auto parts, the preparation of coated cutting tools for high-speed machining, the machining theory, technology, cutting tools and equipment of printed circuit board, the theory of biological tissue resection and the design and manufacture of medical devices, the manufacturing and application technology of superhard materials and their tools, etc.

Scientific research achievements

He has presided over 9 National Fund Projects (including 2 key national fund projects) and more than 40 national 863 sub projects. Authorized 9 invention patents, 5 utility model patents, 1 appearance patent, published more than 50 SCI papers; successively served as the chairman of International Conference for 3 times; won 1 third prize of science and technology progress award of State Education Commission and 1 second prize of natural science and application achievement award of Guangdong science and Technology Award respectively.
