Liu Yuqing, who joined the police after graduating from Xiamen University in 1996, is now the deputy chief of Fuqing frontier inspection station of Fujian Provincial Public Security Frontier Corps, and the rank of armed police lieutenant colonel.

From August 2006 to April 2007, as the leader of China's fourth peacekeeping police anti riot team, he went to Haiti to carry out peacekeeping mission. He was honored with first-class merit once. He was awarded the UN peacekeeping medal, the Ministry of public security's peacekeeping medal, and the Chinese Youth May 4th medal. He was also awarded the new Long March Raider and Youth May 4th pacesetter in Fujian Province.
