Ji fan began to study piano at the age of six and was admitted to the primary school affiliated to the Central Conservatory of music in 1989. He studied under Professor Zhang Jin and Zhang Xinning. In 1992, he was admitted to the middle school affiliated to the Central Conservatory of music and studied under Professor Zhong Hui. At school, he won the "excellent performance award" of Beijing "Xinghai Cup" piano competition, and participated in foreign expert classes for many times.

Character career

In 1998, he was admitted to the Piano Department of Guangzhou Xinghai Conservatory of music with excellent results and studied under Professor Leng Jia. During the study period, I was honored to receive the guidance of many Chinese and foreign experts, and won the "professional excellent scholarship" for two consecutive years, and was rated as "top student of department level" by the college.

In 1999, he went to Hong Kong on behalf of Guangdong Province to participate in the "commemorating the centenary of Chopin's death" Piano Competition and won the "first prize"; in March 2000, he went to Hong Kong again to participate in the "Second Piano Competition of Chinese works" and won the first place in the "double Piano Group" and the sixth place in the "Wang Jianzhong Huang Huwei group", becoming the only player who took part in both groups.

Due to his outstanding performance in the competition, he was invited by the Music Department of southeast State University of Oklahoma to represent Xinghai Conservatory of music to the United States for academic exchange in July 2000, and achieved success.

In September 2001, he went to the United States again to participate in the audition trial of "the eighth Murray dranoff international double Piano Competition". He stood out from more than 100 pairs of players from all over the world and became one of the 11 pairs who were finally shortlisted in the final circle. He entered the finals held in Miami, Florida, USA at the end of the year. After three rounds of super large repertoire circulation, he was lucky to win the "excellent table" "Performance award".

In July 2002, as an outstanding graduate, he graduated from the Piano Department of Xinghai Conservatory of music and joined the chorus of Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. During the work period, I got the careful guidance of many well-known conductors, which was quite profitable. In July 2004, he was transferred to the school of art, South China University of technology. He majored in piano and taught double piano, four hand duet and Piano compulsory courses.

In September 2005, I had the honor to participate in the rehearsal of the "indomitable China" large chorus concert jointly organized by the Hong Kong bel canto chorus, the old professor chorus of Sun Yat sen University and the chorus of South China University of technology, and was invited to perform in the Hong Kong City Hall. In November of the same year, he participated in the concert of "the 53rd Anniversary of South China University of technology". At the end of the same year, in the chamber music concert held by the school of art, South China University of technology, he performed double piano, four hand joint play, vocal accompaniment and other performance tasks.

Since entering the school of art of South China University of technology, he has released two personal piano albums "song of the boat" and "murmur of the valley", which have won high praise.
