Wang Zhilei's father served in the police. She loved singing since she was a child. She won the church poetry competition at the age of six. Her father sent Wang Zhilei to vocal music teacher Ni Xuequan for training. Wang Zhilei participated in the singing competition when she was in the third grade of Taibei high school. She won the "weekly champion" of the competition three times in a row and won the basic star contract of Taiwan television. After the expiration of her contract with UFO records, Wang Zhilei married Zheng Shuting, a computer hardware repairer in the United States, moved to Washington, D.C., and completely quit the film industry. In 2003, at the invitation of Suri, Wang Zhilei was the guest of Suri's solo concert. At the end of 2006, Wang Zhilei came back and signed a contract with Fenghua records, which is run by Zhang Xiaoyan, to release our sky. At the beginning of 2012, singer Wang Zhilei, 54, reported that she had successfully conceived by artificial means.
