Early experience
On July 21, 1945, Shen Dianxia was born into a family of tobacco merchants in Shanghai. She had nine sisters and brothers in her family, ranking sixth. When she was 12 years old, Shen Dianxia went with her family to settle down in Hong Kong. Later, she made up her mind to ask her mother to take her to apply for Shao's film company in Hong Kong as a child star. Through the recruitment of extras, she became a role in the movie "a peach tree with thousands of red flowers" and began her acting career.
Acting experience
On November 15, 1967, Shen Dianxia joined TVB and became one of the earliest artists. She began to host the program "happy tonight"; in the 1970s, she joined Zhang Chong, Xie Xian, Chen Ziqiang, Chen Hao, Qin Xianglin and Deng Guangrong to form the "silver mouse team". The men called each other brother to six, while Shen Dianxia was the seventh sister.
In 1971, Shen Wenxia and other singers from Malaysia and Thailand performed in the chorus of "lovers".
In 1973, Shen Dianxia starred in the film 72 tenants directed by Chu Yuan.
In 1975, Shen Dianxia, Zhang Delan, Wang Mingquan and Wang aiming formed "Four Golden Flowers" and released the Cantonese record "Four Golden Flowers" with the same name.
In 1977, Shen Dianxia gradually faded out of the art circle due to emotional problems.
In 1987, Shen Dianxia returned to the performing arts circle and co starred with Zheng Yuling, liming and Dong Pu in the film "beautiful man" directed by director Jiang Dawei; in the same year, her co stars Dong Pu, Zeng Zhiwei and Li Lizhen in the film "the threat of wealth" and became popular in Hong Kong.
In 1988, Shen Dianxia took part in the film "double fat is near the door", CO starring Dong Pu, Zeng Zhiwei and Maggie Cheung; in the same year, she took part in the film "best son-in-law"; in the same year, she starred in the film "wealth is pressing again", which premiered on December 13.
In 1989, Shen Dianxia once again co starred with Dong Pu, Zeng Zhiwei and Li Lizhen in the film "wealth is pressing again and again"; in the same year, she starred in the film "wealth is auspicious" and cooperated with Lin Zixiang for the first time.
In 1990, Shen Dianxia joined ATV with a large amount of money and acted as the program host of "30 years of fat fun" and "fat fun TV". The next year, she made a special trip to release the album "to my dear" for her beloved daughter Zheng Xinyi and sang with her beloved daughter. Later, she faded out of the performing arts circle and immigrated to Canada.
In 1996, Shen Dianxia returned to the performing arts circle and was invited to take part in the mainland film "weight loss Tour" directed by Liu Guoquan, with her partner Hou Yaohua as the leading role.
In 2001, Shen Dianxia took part in the Hong Kong TVB Fashion TV series "fat granny twist her daughter-in-law", in which she played "Pang Xiaoyu"; the next year, she took part in the TVB drama "I want fit - fit", playing "Zhuang Xiuli".
On August 18, 2003, the opening ceremony of the film Miss Du Shiniang, starring Shen Dianxia, Li Jiaxin and Wu Yanzu, was held in Guangzhou, which premiered on November 16. In September, the new year's film foreign daughter-in-law local Lang, directed by Gao Zhisen, started in Guangzhou and was released on January 4, 2004.

Personal life
Shen Dianxia and Zheng Shaoqiu met in 1978. They took care of each other in junior high school. After a long time together, they began to fall in love. On January 5, 1985, they flew to Canada to get married. On May 30, 1987, Shen Dianxia gave birth to her daughter Zheng Xinyi. Later, due to the intervention of a third party, Guan Jinghua, Shen Dianxia and Zheng Shaoqiu divorced in 1989.
Shen stopped performing in 2006 because of her long-term diabetes and high blood pressure.
During 2007, Shen Dianxia was hospitalized for many times due to physical discomfort, and several critical news came out, causing public concern.
At 8:38 a.m. on February 19, 2008, Shen Dianxia died of liver cancer in Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. She was 62 years old and her body was buried in the Queensland cemetery, Canada.
