Cai Deyun (1905-2007), a writer, was born in Wuxing, Zhejiang Province. When he was 3 years old, he moved to Shanghai with his parents.

Character career

He entered school at the age of 8 and studied in the primary school of Huzhou Lvhu public school. He graduated from Shanghai women's normal school at the age of 17, and then taught in Zhongxi women's school. In 1924, she entered the women's College for further study, graduated at the age of 22 and began to engage in teaching. He came to Hong Kong in 1928. In 1941, Shen Cao Nong, a pianist of Pan Chuan school, studied Guqin. Its style is elegant and elegant, graceful and unrestrained. After the Japanese army fell into Hong Kong, they returned to Shanghai from Hong Kong. He returned to Hong Kong in 1950. In 1964, he was appointed as a tutor of Guqin group by New Asia National Music Association of New Asia College of Hong Kong. Over the past 40 years, Cai Deyun has been actively promoting Guqin and cultivating a new generation of Guqin players. She teaches her students to resist the interference of non art and tries to keep the purity of art. Among her students, Liu chuhua and Su Sidi are excellent at playing, Xie Junren is good at composing, Huang Shuzhi is good at studying silk strings, Zhang Shibin is successful in Chinese music research, Shen Xingshun is a Guqin collector, pan Chonggui, Huang Jizhi, Hu Juren, Qu Zhiren and Rong hongzeng are scholars, and even foreigners.

She is also familiar with poetry and calligraphy, and has a large number of poetry and calligraphy works on display.

In Hong Kong's piano industry, people all respect Cai Deyun. For over 40 years, the vast majority of Hong Kong zither players, if not Miss Cai's students, must also be her disciples' students. Therefore, there is a close relationship between the inheritance history of Hong Kong's piano music in the 20th century and this extraordinary "cross century" musician. Miss Cai has naturally become a witness and symbol in the field of Guqin art in Hong Kong for more than half a century.

Main achievements

Cai Deyun is the author of the music score of the Qin chamber, which includes 35 pieces of music and records her experience of practicing Qin for 60 years.
