"Khuhkheer", in Mongolian, means blue field. Khuhkheer was founded in 1998. Lanye band is the earliest Mongolian rock pop band in Inner Mongolia. Their performance is amazing, their voice is strong and rough, the range is broad, the music has a kind of fantastic momentum, this is the blue wild band. At 17:55 on June 19, 2017, baisguleng (Baisha), one of the founders and lead singer of Lanye band, died in Abaga banner of Xilin Gol League at the age of 42.

Lanye band is the earliest Mongolian rock pop band in Inner Mongolia. It is also the most characteristic and representative band in Inner Mongolia. He has participated in the Spring Festival Gala of Inner Mongolia TV station for several times, toured in Inner Mongolia League, city and county, and held grand concerts everywhere. Their songs echoed in the Mongolian steppe, and their footprints traveled all over the place where the Mongolians lived. Their music inherits the charm of Mongolian songs - sad and desolate grassland flavor. In their songs, you can hear the galloping horses, the boundless grassland and the free life of herding horses.
