In February 1994, the founder of Sophia, matsuooka Chong, was looking for members in Osaka because his band was disbanded. First of all, the target is Toyota, who is a guitarist in his former group, and then his classmates. All three of them worked very hard and began to write immediately. The first work they produced was their third single "believe". At this time, heiliu, who was developing in Nagoya, decided to quit because he found that his music concept was different from that of his band. When he was frustrated, he remembered that he had performed with Chong's band in Nagoya live house, so he immediately got in touch with Chong. After getting to know each other, heiliu went to Osaka. At this time, the band was still short of a drummer. One day, because of looking through the Notepad, he found that there was a man named Fang Peng, a junior student of the third grade. It was said that the day he received the call was Fang Peng's birthday.
Release a large number of albums
In this way, in June 1994, the five person Sophia of songgangchong (VO) center, Toyoda hegui (g), duqiyi (key), heiliunengsheng (b) and Akamatsu Fangpeng (DR) formed. On December 9, the first oneman live was held in the Shinjuku loft. On March 31, 1995, the first indieminialbum "Sophia" was limited to 5000 hair shells, which were sold immediately, and the additional 5000 were sold out in an instant. As a result, there are only 10000 such records in the world, and the current price is dozens of times higher than that at that time. On October 2, the book "boys" was published. Most of the bands will come out with single, but Sophia has a good foundation in the Indies era, so as soon as it comes out, it will release a large disc. A second album, girls, was released on November 1. The dandelion in full bloom on the cover of boys has turned into a cotton ball by the time of girls. When the wind blows, it will be scattered everywhere to sow.
First single
In April 1996, the band released their first single, sunflower. This single is of great significance to the band.
