Budweiser railway, namely Baise Weishe railway. Baise Weishe section of Nanning Kunming railway is located in the west of Guangxi Autonomous Region and the southwest of Guizhou Province. The line starts from Baise City of Guangxi Autonomous Region in the East, passes through Tianlin County in the west, and then enters Guizhou Province. It passes through Ceheng, Anlong and Xingyi City. The total length of the existing line is 286.39km, and the length of the second line is 294.18km. The whole line has 17 side changes. The section parallel to the existing line is 87.75km long, and the length of the single line is 204.73km It is 1.7km long around the main line, 0.662km long construction line and 0.5km long Yunnan Guangxi freight car contact line.

The bridge ratio of Baise Weishe railway project is 20.12%, and the tunnel ratio is 41.0%. The total investment estimate is 17947493700 yuan, and the technical and economic index is 61008500 yuan / main line kilometer, including 16966152300 yuan of static investment and 57672700 yuan / main line kilometer of technical and economic index.

The additional second line of Baise Weishe section of Nanning Kunming railway has been included in the 13th five year plan of Guangxi railway construction.

On March 4, 2016, the people's Government of Qianxinan Prefecture held a forum to solicit opinions on the capacity expansion and reconstruction project of Baise Weishe section of Nanning Kunming Railway at Cuihu hotel in Jinzhou. At the meeting, the research group of China Railway No.5 Research Institute introduced the research progress of the additional second line project of Budweiser section of Nanning Kunming railway. After in-depth exchanges and discussions, the meeting reached a consensus on the alignment, technical standards, station settings and other issues of the additional second line of Budweiser section. on March 14, 2018, long Li, deputy inspector of the development and Reform Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, presided over a meeting in Nanning to study the construction of an additional second line from Baise to Weishe of Nanning Kunming railway.
