Homemade Caramel chocolate popcorn in simple microwave oven
Introduction:
"In fact, there are many versions of homemade popcorn. I've seen it mainly in the pot, but it's really hard for me. My pot doesn't have a lid... Ha ha, after two attempts, I have found the simplest way to make popcorn in the microwave oven, but later seasoning is to use the pan. "
Production steps:
Step 1: take the right amount of butter. If the butter is still lumpy like me, put it directly into the microwave oven for 30 seconds, take it out and see. If it doesn't melt, continue for another 30 seconds, and then go down in turn until it melts.
Step 2: take the right amount of self exploding corn, which means just covering the bottom of the bowl. My picture is still a little too much. The cover of the exploded corn has been lifted up.
Step 3: close the lid and put it in the microwave oven for 3 minutes and 15 seconds. (the bowl I use is very common. I believe everyone has it at home. It's thicker, so I press it for 15 seconds. If it's thin, it only takes 3 minutes at most.)
Step 4: after more than three minutes, the popcorn is ready. Take it out and spread it on a plate to cool.
Step 5: put some sugar into the pot. (it is recommended to use a pan). Add a proper amount of salad oil to moisten the sugar. Open the fire and boil the sugar. Here we should pay great attention, from now on, keep stirring the sugar in the pot.
Step 6: boil until the sugar begins to melt and gather, turn the heat down and continue to stir.
Step 7: because it's Caramel popcorn, only the sugar may be a little lacking in color. When the sugar is completely boiled (as shown in the picture), put in a chocolate (I put a Hershey Chocolate) and keep stirring.
Step 8: pour the chocolate and the popcorn into the pot freely, and turn off the popcorn.
Step 9: sugar and popcorn keep mixing, and then OK.
Materials required:
Self exploding corn: right amount
Butter: moderate
Salad oil: right amount
Sugar: right amount
Chocolate: moderate
Note: 1, popcorn corn to use self exploding corn, I see online said supermarket has sold, I went to our local supermarket did not find, so bought online. 2. Here's a detail. I suggest you don't mix the sugar and butter together and put them in the microwave oven. Although it's convenient, it's easy to paste and affect the taste. 3. Popcorn in the process of explosion, people should not leave, pay attention to listen to the sound, if the sound gradually weakened, or after more than 3 seconds, you have to turn off the fire, or it will paste. 4. It's best to use butter when boiling sugar. I don't have much butter at home, so I use salad oil, but it doesn't affect the taste. 5. When you put in the chocolate, there may be caking. Don't worry about it. You can stir it continuously. You can adjust it to medium heat properly. However, once the sugar melts, you can adjust it to low heat immediately, otherwise the chocolate will paste.
