Website introduction: Zhongbei university is a multidisciplinary teaching and Research University jointly built by the people's Government of Shanxi Province and the State Administration of science, technology and industry for national defense, and managed by the people's Government of Shanxi Province. Its predecessor was Taihang Industrial school, the first military school of our party and army founded by the general command of the Eighth Route Army in Taihang Anti Japanese base area in 1941. After Taiyuan Institute of machinery and North China Institute of technology, it was renamed Zhongbei university with the approval of the Ministry of education in June 2004.
