Mingjing lake is located in the west of Qixia Temple gate, Qixia District, Nanjing city.

architectural composition

Mingjing lake is the first scene of Qixia mountain scenic spot. It was built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty. There is a pavilion in the center of the lake and a Jiuqu bridge connected with the bank. It is exquisitely shaped. The scenic spot is called "Rainbow Mingjing". To the East, there is crescent pool, and then the gate of Qixia Temple.

Ticket information: no ticket required. Included in the ticket of Qixia mountain, the adult ticket in peak season (during the red maple Festival, from October to December) is 40 yuan, which may be adjusted in peak season; the adult ticket in off season is 25 yuan. Children, students and people aged 60-69 who are between 1.3m and 1.5m are half price with valid certificates, while children under 1.3m and people over 70 are free with valid certificates.
