The museum includes 13 exhibition halls, including earth hall, mineral hall, gem hall, dinosaur hall, petroleum hall, night pearl hall, petroleum exploration hall, Zhejiang geology and geomorphology settlement hall and earthquake escape demonstration hall. There are more than 10000 exhibits in the museum, including the world's largest night pearl weighing 8 tons. Silicified wood with a total length of 48 meters, ichthyosaurs with multiple births and crinoids with a height of more than 9 meters are rare and precious in China and even in Asia. At present, the museum is the largest Geological Museum in the Yangtze River Delta with the largest exhibition area, complete variety and the most exquisite collection. It integrates dinosaur world, fossil world, second classroom and popular science tour.
