Shengtian Lake scenic spot is located in Jindaoxia town in the east of Beibei. It was designated as a municipal scenic spot in 1987. The water surface of 800 Mu is winding and beautiful, surrounded by mountains. It is a good place for people to go for outing, recuperation, summer vacation and conference training. The main scenic spots are dam overflow waterfall, peninsula seeking fragrance, lion lying in water, fairy flying flowers, gorge cave wonders, etc.

It's only 2 hours' drive from downtown Chongqing to the lake. Shengtian lake is 46 kilometers away from Beibei City, 4.8 kilometers away from pianyan ancient town, 11 kilometers away from Jindao gorge shangxiakou and 20 kilometers away from Huaying Mountain Baoding. The ancient town, lake, gorge and mountain are complementary in scenery. It's a good place for people to arrange weekend 2-3 day tour. Shengtian lake is a gorgeous and fragrant mountain flower on the gallery of Beibei East Tourism line.

Traffic information

It takes about 2 hours to take the bus from Chongqing north station to LIUMENG. Then transfer to pianyan at LIUMENG. Pianyan has a van to Shengtian lake.

Take a bus from Jiangbei north bus station to Jindaoxia, get off at pianyan, and then take a minibus or a motorcycle.
