Zimei pass

Zimei pass is a wonderful route for self driving, hiking, photography and exploration. It is 4500 meters above sea level. It is as beautiful as a fairyland. It feels half in the sky and half in the world. It is an excellent place to watch Gongga mountain from a short distance, because it is only 5 kilometers away from Gongga.

There is a large viewing platform above the Zimei pass, which can park a lot of cars. In the afternoon, there are usually many photographers waiting for the sunset and taking pictures of the sunshine in Jinshan.

Zimei pass

Zimei pass is located in Gongga Township, Kangding City, Ganzi Prefecture, with an altitude of 4500 meters. It is an excellent place to view Gongga snow mountain, the king of Shu mountain. It's a full day, no ticket attraction.

Traffic information

Zimei pass has not yet been developed for tourism. If it doesn't snow on the earth road of Panshan mountain, the road condition is good and the light and shadow are very beautiful. It's a good choice for self driving travel! You can go through gagenba near Xinduqiao, go straight along Tulu, pass through Yaha mountain pass, you can see Gongga seven sisters, and then go straight down the mountain.

The highway from gagenba township to gonggashan Township and its construction are expected to be open to traffic by the end of 2018 or the middle of 2019, with a total length of 96 km asphalt pavement. It will pass through calcified beach, zimeiyakou and other famous scenic spots.

From Xinduqiao to Jiulong, walk along S211 to jiagenba Township, turn left to Tulu, go straight, pass Yaha pass, you can see the seven sisters of Gongga, then continue to pass Yulong West, reach shangmuju village, and turn left to zimeiyakou.
