Shatanjiang Street

Shatanjiang street, located in the north of Gangkou District, Fangchenggang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is an emerging urban center of Fangchenggang City. It was originally a part of Gongche town. In December 2014, it was approved to set up shatanjiang street. As of September 2016, it has jurisdiction over four communities.

Evolution of organizational system

On December 1, 2014, the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region approved the cancellation of Gongche town in Gangkou District of Fangchenggang City, and the administrative area of Gongche town was directly under the jurisdiction of Gangkou district. Taking chongkong village and Yagang village of Gongche town as administrative areas, shatanjiang street in Gangkou district was established, named after shatanjiang river flowing through the territory. on September 6, 2016, chongkong village and Yagang village under the jurisdiction of shatanjiang street were approved to set up four communities.

geographical environment

Shatanjiang street is located in the south of Fangchenggang City and the north of Gangkou district. It is adjacent to Wangfu street of Gangkou District in the East, Fangcheng District in the north, Xiwan of Fangchenggang in the West and yuzhouping street in the south. It is one of the emerging urban centers of Fangchenggang City. The municipal government is located in the territory.

History and culture

Shatan river originates from the hilly area in the east of Fangcheng District, flows through Gongche town in the port area, and flows into Dongwan.
