About Jin Opera:
Applicant: Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
Zhonglu Bangzi, also known as Shanxi Bangzi and Jin opera, was introduced into Inner Mongolia in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. After the introduction of Zhonglu Bangzi into Inner Mongolia, it has integrated Jinbai, Jingbai and local dialects. Its performance is simple, its appearance is pure and beautiful, its singing is more and more rough, and its melody is euphemistic. There are more than 200 plays frequently performed, including "Da Jin Zhi", "Bai Mao NV" and "Ga Da Mei Lin".
In the 1950s and 1960s, due to the strong support of the party and the government, Zhonglu Bangzi played a leading role in the Inner Mongolia opera circle. In recent years, due to the changes in economic development and lifestyle, as well as the cut-off of creative and reserve art talents, the inheritance and development is not optimistic, and the future is worrying.
