"Qingshi", commonly known as "Qingshi baimumei", also known as "KaiKou lion", is a unique traditional lion dance with local characteristics in Chaoshan area.

In Chaoshan, in addition to martial arts and entertainment functions, early lion dance also had the meaning of expelling epidemic ghosts. At present, there is still a traditional custom of dancing green lion to expel evil spirits in Rongcheng area of Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. The sun family in the South Gate of Rongcheng was moved from Jinggang, Yuhu, the former county governor of Jieyang county. All along, they have been dancing green lions on the days of clan sacrifice or festivity, which has a history of more than 300 years.

Green lion's "lion's head" forehead prominent, nostrils tall, eyes like a bell, long beard curly hair, ferocious and powerful. The main action of green lion performance is "beating the lion Festival" (also known as "biting the lice" or "putting on the head"). It is said that there are 18 routines, such as biting the feet, biting the lice, sleeping the lion, turning over the lion, stepping on the seven stars, stepping on the eight trigrams, crossing the bridge, playing with the lion, saving the lion, table Kung Fu, exploring the well on the table, cutting the blood of the lion, biting the fruit, robbing the money, biting the green, receiving the gift of the lion, worshiping the temple and four gates to the end. In addition, Qingshi also performs "Caiqing" (including "Gaoqing" and "Diqing"). Gao Qing's performance has three techniques: Optimus Prime, upper plate and upper arm; Di Qing's performance has many kinds, such as orange green, pan green, eight trigrams green, seven star moon green, poisonous snake green, bridgehead green, crab green, etc.
