Mongolian orthopedics is the long-term experience of Mongolian people fighting against diseases, especially Horqin orthopedics. Traditional Mongolian orthopedics originated from the folk. In Horqin area, Mongolian orthopedics was preserved and handed down in the form of Shamanism, forming a unique Horqin Mongolian orthopedics. In the 1970s, kezuohou banner, as the birthplace of Horqin Mongolian orthopedics, established a Mongolian orthopedic hospital. As a result, Mongolian orthopedic technology moved from the folk to the regular hospital. However, compared with other disciplines, Mongolian orthopedic technology has not been popularized, with less than 100 employees and lack of inheriting talents.

The content of Mongolian orthopedics: in the treatment of limb fractures, comprehensive treatment methods are adopted, such as manipulative reduction, external fixation, wine spray massage, Mongolian medicine, functional exercise and so on. The specific steps are as follows: 1. Take corresponding reduction measures according to different fractures of various parts; 2. Use the dry skin of cattle or horses as a fixation device (now it has evolved into a special wooden splint) to implement external fixation; 3. Spray wine and massage on the wound site (generally speaking, spray wine can be divided into two steps, namely spray wine before manual reduction and spray wine and massage after fixation); 4. Choose a time for trauma treatment 5. Use Mongolian medicine according to the condition.

Mongolian orthopedic surgery has the advantages of easy operation, safety, less pain (free from the pain of surgery), short course of treatment, fast healing, good functional recovery, no sequelae and so on. The treatment is not limited by environmental conditions and has always been trusted by people.
