Introduction to Shizhu Tujia Luoer tune:
Applicant: Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County, Chongqing
Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing is located at the intersection of Wuling mountains and the Yangtze River. The Tujia luo'er tune bred and sung here has a long history.
The melody of Luoer tune of Tujia Nationality in Shizhu is simple, and each tune has a range of less than eight degrees. There is little decoration in the tune, and the tune is smooth, easy to master and easy to sing. Most of its modes are Zheng, Yu and Shang modes, including both traditional repertoire and improvisation. Most of the lyrics are seven character sentences, which can be improvised to express the singer's true feelings. Some songs have the same tunes but different words, which is quite a legacy of "Zhuzhi Ci"; some lyrics are straightforward and popular, which vividly reflect the local Tujia people's life, labor, folk customs, folk customs, emotions and religious beliefs, and comprehensively record the Tujia people's etiquette and custom activities, living conditions and the evolution of national culture. The tone of luo'er is simple and full-bodied, especially the use of a large number of idiomatic dialects such as "luo'er", "luo'er Luo" and "Luo" in luo'er tune, which makes the tune closely combined with the four tones of the local Tujia dialect, and frankly shows the optimistic, open-minded, wise and humorous character of Tujia people, thus forming a unique style and charm. "The sun comes out happily" is one of the representative works of luo'er tune folk songs of Tujia people in Shizhu. In addition, there are songs such as "long life song", "pregnant song" and "little lover".
In the 1950s and 1960s, there were more than 300 people in Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County who could sing "Luo Er Diao". With the change of social culture, there were fewer and fewer singers. According to a preliminary survey, only about 70 people can sing now. These singers are old, and the inheritance of luo'er tune is facing difficulties and is on the verge of extinction.
